Houston, TX (July 1, 2013) – On June 25th & 26th, CRANE ChemPharma & Energy exhibited their extensive line of products for fluid handling applications in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, power and refining industries at the 2nd Valve World Expo Americas. A key industry trade fair for valves and valve equipment, the show was held at the George Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas (USA).

As a key sponsor, exhibitor, and workshop contributor, CRANE ChemPharma & Energy was heavily involved in the conference, with Aneta Stephens, Director Global Communications, on the Conference Steering Committee and Carlos Davila, Product Sales Manager, and Rob Enneking, Special Products/Sleeved Products Manager, participating as panelists for a workshop on “Valve Materials Selection.” Davila likewise delivered a presentation on metallics used in valve trims while business line manager Roger Turley presented a key note speech on plant repowering. The accompanying white paper was distributed to all conference attendees. “The Valve World Americas Expo is an excellent platform for Crane, as it delivers an opportunity to interface with end users, EPC’s and distributors alike,” said Mr. Enneking. “The exhibition presents a unique and vital opportunity to communicate our solutions and technology to a diverse and prominent audience.”

Among the products featured at the Expo were CRANE ChemPharma & Energy’s Resistoflex® ATL PTFE Advanced Technology Liner, Xomox XLB, WTA BSGV, Duo-Chek, Noz-Chek and others, including products from the CRANE, Flowseal, and Aloyco lines.

In support of the products on display, an interactive web application was also launched at the Expo to illustrate the key features and differentiating characteristics of RX, WTA and XOMOX products. The interactive, web-based tool was developed to communicate the depth of Crane’s product solutions and services for the Chlor-Alkali industry. An integrated process map combines videos, 3D interactive models and marketing collateral to create a comprehensive and intuitive illustration of Crane’s technology.

Crane will join Valve World again in Suzhou, China as a sponsor of Valve World Asia 2013 on the 11th and 12th of September. Photos and additional show coverage can be viewed at www.CraneatValveWorld.com, or through the Valve World website at www.valve-world.net/galleries.
